Taj Mahal Weekend Trip!

I got a weekend away to go to Delhi as a chaperon! It was a quick trip but we managed to get all the sights in and have a great time. We saw the Taj, saw how carpets are made, saw how they carved the taj mahal, shopped, swam, rode an elephant, sat on a camel, painted our hands with mehendi(which is a popular thing to do among the women in India, especially if you are getting married), saw old Delhi and cool forts, rode on a bicycle rickshaw, shopped some more, went to church and then flew home. Old Delhi was neat the streets were just like the market place in Aladdin. The shopping there was a lot of fun. Good Times!
