Olivia in India!

I was at first afraid to move to India. It was a new country and I did not know anyone. I liked it though right away because I had one hundred and eighty friends.

The plane ride was long and it took us two days to get there.
We eat rice everyday. Sometimes it is too spicy. Everyday is an adventure.
I like meeting all the volunteers and working with them at construction. I also like to visit the leper colonies and help with people that live there. I like to play memory game with them. I also like t dance with them. I like to help the doctors and nurses. At one colonies I painted toe nails of some of the people who were sick.
I don't like dogs, snakes, scorpions or the spiders.
I don't like the crazy honking of all the horns...it can give you a headache. It can make you car sick too.
I love all the pretty clothes. I like all the cheap prices for the clothes. I boiught a nightgown for a dollar. I love the bright colors of the clothes. I like all the sparkly jewelry and bangles. I fell like we are playing dress up every time I get dressed.
My new friends names are Amirtham, Amsavalli, Devi, Gracy, Satyia, and Jennifer. There are lots more friends, to many to name.
I like ggoing to the junction to get treats and shop. I like to spend one dollar and buy chips, soda, ice cream and some new bindis.
I like to go to an indian school and learn new games at PT called coco and tiger and deer. I like to be the deer in the tiger deer game.

I love India

Love Olivia

Olivia- Kyah says hi and she misses you and Boston. She misses playing 'dress up' everyday and all the other friends at Rising Star. But she really likes spending time with her grandma and grandpa :) She will be eight this week and be getting baptized.
