Hello everyone! I am back after a short break from blogging:) Just a quick update because I am tired, we are still adjusting to the time change it is twelve hours different. The kids were up at 130 and would not go back to sleep. I did not let them nap today so they are in bed now and it is only six-thirty here. We did make it safely with not to many problems. Oaks had a small breakdown in London at the airport, and people asked us if he was okay, Belle fell out of the stroller in the another airport and bags were going everywhere as Steele tried to get her, and Belle ran away while we were in the third security check line at two in the morning in London( a lady that works at the airport saw her right away and brought her to us. Opps oh well we said our prayers that morning so all is well! After thirty hours of travel we finally arrived in Chennai India. The moment we stepped of the plane Boston wanted to know what the smell was. HaHa so funny, that is the smell of India so get use to it. We stayed at the Marriot in Chennai and I was so happy to take a shower and bath the kids, I started to run a bath and the water was really brown and had a stinky smell. As Steele says it "We are not in Kansas anymore." We slept a few hours and then caught our ride to go to Rising Star Outreach! It was a two hour drive...we saw amazing crazy beautiful things. Make a story short because I am tired we arrived there safely, the picture of the field with grass huts is the village just a half mile away from us. It is really pretty here! So far so good I will post more later

That is good that you were able to get there safely. It looks beautiful and looks like everyone is having a good time getting acquainted with their new surroundings.
really neat Sarah, sounds fantastic!!
oh i had a friend who visited there (the other side of the continent but it sounds the same) she had a wedding dress made..... for around 50 bucks and they copied the designer dress pretty close!!!
custom made fitted suits for Steele too.
Olivia, Boston, and Sarah all look so cute in authentic Indian clothes! I like the bright colors. Next picture, we want to see Steele modeling the skirt. =) Oaks and Cole too!
Sarah, it brings back vivid memories for me to read of your experience...makes me want to join you!! How exciting, we are all interested in your journey, keep us updated! send love to the kids!
We're glad you got there safely! That trip sounds tiring...

Haha we are not in a hut! That is our neighbors!
Rachelle, we will for sure bring your girls back a cute outfit. The cost of the material and clothes are amazing. They say Steele can get shirts made for 80 ruppees., that is almost 2 dollars!
